Clear answers for everyone who uses Coupinko Tracking: workspace owners, advertisers, affiliates and team members.
What Coupinko Tracking is, how to open an account and how to sign in.
For: EveryoneCoupinko Tracking is software for running an affiliate or partner program. You add offers, partners send traffic through tracking links, the platform records every click and sale, and you approve and pay your partners from one place.
It is not a tool for tracking your own ad spend as a media buyer.
No credit card is needed. The trial lasts 14 days.
No. You only add a card when you choose a plan.
Yes. On the sign-up page choose Buy a plan, pick the plan and billing period, and pay securely with Stripe. Your workspace is created as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Check your spam or junk folder and search for the sender name. Make sure you typed your email correctly. If it still does not arrive after a few minutes, contact us from the Contact page and include the email address you used.
Your workspace has its own address, for example yourname.coupinko.com. Sign in there with your email and password. If you forget the address, open the main website, click Sign in, and enter your email. We send you the address.
On your workspace sign-in page click Forgot password and enter your email. You will get a link to choose a new one. Check spam if it does not arrive.
Yes. The first page you see (Dashboard) has a Get started checklist: add your company logo and name, add an advertiser, create your first offer, invite or approve an affiliate, and receive your first click. You can hide the checklist when you are done.
There is a language selector at the top of every panel. Choose your language there.
Yes. The free trial gives you the full platform for 14 days with no card. You can also book a demo from the main website and we will show you around.
Each workspace is one separate network or program with its own data. If you need separate programs, for example one per client, create a separate workspace for each, with its own email and trial or plan.
Your company or program name, at least one offer (a destination page and the payout), and a way for the advertiser's site or app to send a postback when a sale happens. The Get started checklist walks you through it.
Yes. Give them the postback address shown on your offer page. It is a normal web address that needs the click ID, so it is usually a short job.
No. It runs in your web browser. There is nothing to install on your computer.
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on a computer, tablet or phone.
How to sign in, create an affiliate or advertiser account, and what happens next.
For: EveryoneYour email, your password and the answer to the short security question shown under the password (for example 5 + 8 = ?). Tick Remember Me if you are on your own device, then click Login.
It is a quick check that you are a person and not a robot. Type the answer as a number. Click the small refresh icon beside it to get a new question.
The question may have expired. Click the refresh icon, answer the new question and try again. Type digits only, with no spaces or letters.
It keeps you signed in on that device for longer. Do not use it on a shared or public computer.

So the network can contact you and pay you correctly. Only the network you register with sees these details.
It is a question set by the network you are joining, for example where and how you plan to promote offers. Answer it clearly: it helps them approve you faster.
Usually one of two things: you have not clicked the verification link in your email yet, or the network has not approved your application yet. Check your spam folder, then wait for approval or contact the network.
It depends on the network. Each network reviews its own applications. If you are waiting a long time, contact them directly.
Yes. Open your account page in your panel (Account or My Account) to update your details and password.
On your own dashboard: admins see the admin dashboard, affiliates the affiliate dashboard, advertisers the advertiser dashboard and employees the employee dashboard.
Open Security (2FA) and then Login sessions. You can sign out one device or all other devices.
Change your password at once, turn on two-factor sign-in, and sign out all other devices under Security (2FA) > Login sessions.
Each network is separate, with its own accounts. You can register on several networks and use the same email on each.
Check that every required field is filled, the two passwords match, a country is chosen and the Terms and Conditions box is ticked. The form highlights what is missing.
Trial, plans, limits, invoices, cancelling and deleting a workspace.
For: Workspace adminsYour workspace is paused, not deleted. Your data stays safe. Choose a plan on the Plan & Billing page and everything switches back on at once. You get reminder emails before the trial ends.
Each plan has a monthly limit of tracked clicks and conversions, and a limit on how many offers, affiliates, advertisers, employees and domains you can have. The Plan & Billing page shows how much you have used, with a coloured bar.
You get a warning at 80% and again at 100%. Tracking continues for a small grace margin, then stops for that limit until you upgrade or the month renews. There are no hidden overage charges.
Contact us. Limits can be raised for a specific customer on request.
On Plan & Billing click Manage card, invoices or cancel. This opens Stripe's secure page where you can update your card, download invoices and change your billing details.
The Plan & Billing page shows a message to update your card. Update it on the Stripe page. We retry the payment, and your workspace stays usable for a short grace period. If the payment still fails, the workspace is paused until it is fixed.
Open Plan & Billing > Manage card, invoices or cancel and cancel the subscription. Your workspace keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds are handled case by case. Contact us from the Contact page with your workspace name and the reason.
On Plan & Billing under Your data click Raw Data Export. You can also use Reports & Insights > Raw Data Export to download your clicks and conversions.
Your workspace is closed and permanently removed after 7 days. During those 7 days you can contact us to cancel the deletion. Download your data before you delete.
No setup fees and no long contract. You pay the plan price for each month or year and can cancel any time.
Yearly billing is one payment for the whole year; monthly billing is one payment each month. The price for each is shown on the pricing page and in Plan & Billing.
Yes, at any time from Plan & Billing. Upgrades take effect straight away.
Payments are made securely through Stripe. You see the available payment options on the Stripe page when you subscribe.
If tax applies in your country, it is shown at checkout and on your invoice.
Yes. Stripe emails you a receipt for each payment, and you can download invoices any time from Manage card, invoices or cancel on the Plan & Billing page.
Open Manage card, invoices or cancel on Plan & Billing and update your billing details on the Stripe page.
Every tracked click and every recorded conversion in the month counts. The Plan & Billing page shows your numbers so far and when they reset.
At the start of each month. The bar on the Plan & Billing page goes back to zero.
Start with the free trial, then choose the smallest plan whose limits cover your monthly clicks, conversions, offers and affiliates. You can upgrade whenever you outgrow it.
Your workspace keeps working until the end of the paid period. After that it is paused. Your data is kept, so you can come back by choosing a plan, unless you delete the workspace.
Branding, email, currency, payment methods, team, domains and security.
For: Workspace adminsYour logo then shows in the menu, on the sign-in pages and on affiliate and advertiser panels. Use a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF.
Open Settings > Company. You can change the name, support email, default timezone, default currency, referral commission percentage, minimum withdrawal, pending payment days, the page visitors are sent to when a link is not valid, and how long click data is kept.
It is the smallest balance an affiliate must have before they can request a payout. Set it in Settings > Company.
Open Settings > Email and enter your mail server details (host, port, encryption, username and password), then the sender name and address. Use Send test email to check it. You can also choose Use server defaults to go back to the standard sender. Your password is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Open Settings > Payment Methods and add the methods you support, such as PayPal or bank transfer, and the details you need from affiliates.
Yes. Open Settings > Signup Questions and add the questions you want. New affiliates answer them when they register.
Open People > Add Employee, enter their details and choose which things they may do (for example view reports, approve conversions, use the fraud tools). Employees only see what you allow.
DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to a day to spread. The number of domains you can add depends on your plan.
Open Settings > Security (2FA), scan the code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator) and enter the 6-digit code. From then on you need the code each time you sign in. Every user (affiliates, advertisers, employees) can turn it on for their own account.
Yes. Use People > Import Users for affiliates and advertisers, Offers import for offers, and Protection & Tools > Import Conversions for past conversions. They take spreadsheet files (CSV).
The one you mainly pay affiliates in. Offers can still use other currencies. You set exchange rates under Settings > Currency.
The default timezone set in Settings > Company. Daily numbers are cut at midnight in that timezone.
It is the web address your workspace uses, for example https://yourname.coupinko.com. Links in emails use it. Change it only if you have set up your own domain.
Switch it off in Settings > Company.
Set the number of days under Settings > Company (click retention). Older detailed click records are removed automatically to keep things fast. Daily summaries in your reports are kept.
It is the page visitors are sent to when a link is not valid, for example when an offer has ended. Set it in Settings > Company.
Only if you allow it. Employee permissions decide what they can see and do, so you can keep payments and settings to yourself.
Open People > Employees, open the person and change their status, or delete them. They lose access straight away.
Not yet. The screens use the word affiliate. Your partners just see their own panel.
Open Settings > Company, upload a new logo and press Save. Use Remove to go back to the default.
Create offers, set payouts and caps, and get tracking links for affiliates.
For: Workspace admins, advertisersAn offer is something affiliates can promote, for example 'Sign up for the app' or 'Buy anything in the store'. It has a destination page, a payout for affiliates, optionally revenue from the advertiser, and rules such as countries and caps.
Payout is what the affiliate earns for a result. Revenue is what the advertiser pays you for the same result. The difference is your margin. A brand running its own program can set only the payout.
Both. Enter a fixed payout, or use Percent Payout and Percent Revenue so the amount follows the sale value sent by the advertiser.
Yes. Goals let one offer pay differently for different events, such as a free signup, a purchase or an install. Each goal has its own payout and revenue.
Under Offer Permission/Visibility choose Public (anyone can promote), Ask for permission (affiliates apply and you approve in Offer Applications) or Private (invite-only).
In the offer's targeting section choose the countries and states, devices and browsers that are allowed. Traffic from other places is not counted.
Caps limit how much an offer can receive: a daily click cap, a daily conversion cap, a total click cap and a total conversion cap. You can auto-pause the offer when it reaches the total cap, and send extra traffic to a Cap Fallback Offer instead.
Affiliates open the offer in their panel and copy their own tracking link. It already contains their ID. They can add up to ten sub IDs (Aff Sub 1 to 10) to track their own sources.
If you switch on Deep Linking for an offer, an affiliate can add a destination page to their tracking link so the visitor lands on a specific product or page on your site instead of the default page.
Yes. In the offer you can turn on Block Known Bots, set a Duplicate Click Threshold, set a minimum and maximum time between click and conversion, and choose how conversions from the same IP are treated.
Yes. Use Expire Date on the offer. After that date the offer stops accepting traffic. You can also choose a Redirect Offer to send visitors to instead.
Coupons are discount codes you share with affiliates next to an offer. A Product Feed is a list of products that affiliates can use to build their own pages.
Open the offer. The tracking URL and the postback address for that offer are shown on its page. Affiliates get their own copy of the link in their panel.
It is the advertiser's web page where visitors land. The platform adds the click ID and affiliate details when it sends the visitor there.
A page affiliates can open to see the offer, without being tracked.
Open the offer and change its Status to inactive. New clicks stop being sent to the advertiser.
Use Custom Payout on the offer to set a different payout for a chosen affiliate.
Yes. Create separate offers for each country with the right targeting and payout, or use goals for different events.
Groups collect offers together so you can give a whole set of offers to certain affiliates in one step.
Categories help affiliates find offers. They can filter the offer list by category.
Use affiliate tiers or commission tiers so payouts rise as a partner reaches the thresholds you set.
Extra traffic is not counted. If you set a Cap Fallback Offer, visitors are sent there instead of being lost.
Yes. Use the offer import to upload a spreadsheet of offers.
Yes. Set Conversion Approval to manual and approve each conversion yourself, or to auto if you trust the source.
They are the shortest and longest time allowed between the click and the conversion. A conversion that happens too fast or too slowly can be treated as suspicious.
An impression pixel counts when an image or page loads. A conversion pixel on a thank-you page can record a sale. Postbacks are safer than pixels, so use them when you can.
Yes. When creating or editing an offer, open Schedule & Advanced Targeting. Set a go-live date and time, choose the days of the week it runs, and an hour window (overnight windows such as 22:00 to 06:00 work). Clicks outside the schedule go to the affiliate's fallback link.
Country, state (India), device, browser, operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, ChromeOS), browser language, and an Exclude countries list that blocks specific countries even when no country targeting is set. Visitors who do not match go to the affiliate's fallback link.
Fill in Terms & traffic rules and KPI / quality notes on the offer. Affiliates see them in a Traffic rules card on the offer page, together with the schedule and targeting.
How sales and signups are reported back to the platform, and how affiliates receive them.
For: Workspace admins, advertisers, affiliatesA postback (also called server-to-server tracking) is a message sent from the advertiser's website or app to the platform when a sale or signup happens. It tells us which click led to the result so the right affiliate is credited.
The advertiser's system calls a tracking address on your domain and sends the click ID it received. Optionally it also sends the sale amount, the goal, an order ID and the customer's email. The exact ready-to-copy address for each offer is shown on the offer page. Give it to your advertiser or developer.
Every click gets a unique ID. When the visitor reaches the advertiser, the advertiser stores that ID and sends it back in the postback. That is how a sale is matched to the affiliate.
Use Protection & Tools > Test Center before you send traffic to an offer:
Also useful: Link Health checks every offer's tracking link and shows each redirect step, and the Click Simulator shows which rule would stop a click.
In the affiliate panel open Integrations > Postback, enter the address of their tracker and use the tokens listed there, such as {offer_id}, {payout}, {country}, {aff_sub}, {aff_click} and {sale_amount}. We call their address every time they earn a conversion.
Yes, through postbacks. Your attribution provider or backend sends install and event postbacks, including device IDs. The platform does not provide its own mobile SDK.
Yes. Affiliates can create API keys under Integrations > API Keys and use them to pull their own data. They can also use an Offer Feed to get a list of offers.
A pixel runs in the visitor's browser and can be blocked. A postback is sent between servers, so it is more reliable. Use postbacks whenever the advertiser's system can send them.
The click ID, and optionally the sale amount, the order ID, the goal and the customer's email. The ready-made address on your offer page already shows where each goes.
It tells the platform which goal of the offer the conversion belongs to, for example registration or purchase. Each goal can have a different payout.
For percentage payouts and for reports of order value. The payout is worked out from the amount you send.
Send an order ID with every postback. The platform ignores a second postback with the same order ID.
Turn on a secret token, or only allow the advertiser's server IP addresses, so nobody else can send fake conversions.
{offer_id}, {payout}, {currency}, {country}, {region}, {city}, {click_ip}, {conversion_ip}, {sale_amount}, {aff_click}, {source} and {aff_sub} to {aff_sub5}. They are replaced with real values when the postback is sent.
In Offers & Tracking > Postback there is a log of postbacks, so you can see what was received and why something was rejected.
You can send the postback to any tool that accepts a web address. Use the tokens to pass the values it expects.
Send a customer ID in the postback. The Customer LTV report then shows the value of each customer over time.
Put these in the offer's tracking URL and we fill them in on every click:
The offer pages have a list of buttons you can click to copy each one.
Send `click_id` plus any of: the payout/commission, `sale_amount`, `order_id`, `goal_id`, `customer_id`. Common alternative names also work: `clickid`, `cid` and `transaction_id` for the click ID; `commission` and `payout` for the commission; `amount` and `order_amount` for the sale amount; `event_id` and `goalid` for the goal.
Values are safely encoded, so a sub ID with special characters cannot break the link. Revenue is never sent to affiliates.
Ten. Affiliates add `aff_sub1` to `aff_sub10` to their tracking link. Each one is saved with the click, passed to the advertiser as `{sub1}` to `{sub10}`, returned in the affiliate postback, and available in the reports.
IP address, country, region, city, device type (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet), device model, operating system and version, browser and version, and the full user agent.
Make sure the advertiser sends back the same `click_id` we passed to them. If they only have a pixel, we match the latest click from the same IP and browser, but a `click_id` is always more accurate.
Open Postbacks, press the paper-plane button on a postback, and we call your URL once with your latest real click (or sample values if you have none yet). You see the exact URL called and the response. Every test is saved in the postback's log, and failed deliveries can be sent again with Re-send.
Yes. Add a postback with the event approved, rejected or pending. Whenever a conversion changes to that status after it was first recorded, your URL is called with `{status}` and `{event}` filled in. Postbacks for other events are not affected.
Adding and approving people, tiers, identity checks and import.
For: Workspace adminsThey register on your sign-up page and confirm their email. Their application then waits for your approval. You can also add them yourself from People > Add Affiliate or import them.

For: Workspace admins, affiliates, advertisersYou can set each offer to approve automatically or to wait for manual approval.
Open Reports & Insights > Conversion or Conversion Logs, select the conversions and approve or decline them. Every change is recorded.
A scrub rate holds back a share of conversions for an offer or an affiliate. They show as declined to the affiliate and you can reverse them later.
Use Money > Payout Batches. Select what to pay and export a PayPal Mass Pay or Wise bulk file in one click, then mark the batch paid or release it.
No. The platform records and calculates what is owed and prepares the files. You send the money from your own PayPal, bank or Wise account.
You can create invoices for advertisers from real conversions, and affiliates can see statements of what they earned. Find them in Money > Invoices. You can mark an invoice paid or cancel it.
Yes. Offers and payouts can use different currencies. Manage them under Settings > Currency.
Balances count only approved conversions. Pending ones are not yet included, and declined ones are removed. Open the affiliate's conversion list to see each line.
No. Every change in money goes through one protected record, so a conversion is never counted or refunded twice.
